We open new contexts for artistic exploration to safeguard natural heritage: contemporary creation in service of the territory, of the gaze, and of what deserves to remain.
We have created a virtual reserve featuring ten endangered species.
This initiative stems from our collaboration with the DeFi (decentralised finance) conference organised by the National Federation for Digitalisation and Blockchain in Zaragoza. The event brought together projects that use blockchain technology to develop financial solutions. Against this backdrop, we decided to create an experience that would highlight the importance of tokenising objects.
We have created a botanical garden where we are attempting to revive vulnerable plant species, some of which are already extinct and others facing extinction. These are ten species from every continent that have suffered the consequences of the way we manage natural resources. Visitors can immerse themselves in this botanical garden through an augmented reality experience.
Beyond playful virtual experiences, this exhibition in the metaverse aims to be a stage for action and awareness for the recovery of our biodiversity. It is the spearhead of a project of enormous social significance: The Chain Behind Me. An initiative to promote sustainability that aims to exploit the potential of the blockchain and contribute to a more conscious and responsible future.
